About Bubbles
Spitfire’s Tiny Bubbles; Spitfire is one word that describes her personality. My introduction to the Staffordshire bull terrier world was Bubbles.  If I had only been a more knowledgeable trainer when she was young, she would have been world class. She has taught me so much about dog training. I think she taught the whole team something about dog training.  As challenging as she was in the first few years you could not ask for a better friend. There has not been one thing that I have asked her to do that she did not excel at ~ flyball, obedience, Schutzhund, weight pulling, strong dog, most recently Dock diving.

In the beginning Bubbles was difficult. I will be honest the first year was unmemorable. She was a terror; I wont say that she was disobedient. She just had it in her mind to do it her way.  I remember one of her “MANY” debuts, she ran down got her ball notice the other box that also had a ball loaded. Well, Bubbles was a little confused she decided to retrieve the other ball too. Maddie from BiTP was nervous, strange dog at her box. Not only was the dog at her box. Bubbles thought it would be fun to see how fast Maddie little legs could carry her back to daddy. I think Maddie ran a sub 4 back to dad. And then you have Bubbles running A-MUCK, yes we have all witness Bubbles and her personal victory laps.

As she matured she became the teams official secret weapon.  Bubbles’ screeching, squealing and yodeling on the start line has unnerved many a dogs giving her team the competitive edge.  This competitive edge helped to bring her team to division 1 for the fist time.

August 2004 Bubbles took some time off to enjoy a little maternity time.  She is a proud mother of 6, 4 girls and 2 boys.  You might see a few of her offspring in the near future. Competing in flyball, agility or possible in the show ring.

In June of 2005 Bubbles returned back to the flyball ring with the same enthusiasm.  In August 2005 Bubbles earned her ONYX title. She is currently ranked 17th out of 129 SBT.

Bubbles’ has been an AWESOME ambassador for the Staffordshire bull terrier breed. I feel our biggest accomplishment has been to change a few minds about the breed and that isn’t easy to do. Bubbles’ has made many friends in the dog sport community. Most people know me as “Bubbles mom” ~ I couldn’t be more proud. She is absolutely one of a kind ~ the best kind.

Bubbles introduced me to a world of love, loyalty, courage and sheer joy of living that I might have missed without her.
