About Maximus
Maximus is a true enjoyment
in my life. Me and him have a bond only true dog people
can understand. I would not have some of the good
friends that I have today if it was not for him.
Maximus has never been
anything like what the media has portrayed Pit Bulls to
be like and I never really understood why they are portrayed
in that way. To this day I have yet to come across a Pit
Bull that has ever acted in a manner that the media
displays and I have come across many Pit Bulls since
owning one.This is the one of the main reasons why we(me,
Ursula, and Melissa) have put this site together to
really show the world what true representatives of the
breed are.
Me and Maximus have gotten
into the dog sport world in a little late in life due to
my lack of confidence of being accepted in the dog world
due to breed stereotype. If I had had not met one of my
good friends Melissa, I don't believe I would be doing
what I do today in the sport world.
Maximus is now competing in
dock jumping in which he is one of the top d ogs in the
sport for a bully breed. I believe with a little bit
more exposure to events, he could be the top bully in
the sport.
Maximus has also started
training for flyball and will be ready to dominate the
sport for the the 2007 season.
I would like to thank
Melissa for showing me the full capabilities of what a
dog can do. With his athleticism and his willing to
please, Maximus makes for an incredible dog.He is truly
my best friend and we look forward to showing you what
he is all about.
