A breed of satin and steel. Pit bulls are a mixture of softness and strength and uncanny canine combination of fun, foolishness, and serious business, all wrapped up in love

Team Triple Threat, is a dog sport team dedicated to changing the world’s perspective on Pit Bulls. We promote the agility, athleticism and the true personalities of the Pit Bull breeds.  We are doing this primarily through the dog sport of dock diving and other dog sport venues across the country one event at a time.

Our dogs are strong, stable athletes and breed ambassadors. They excel in extreme canine sports such as flyball, weight pull, frisbee, with a primary focus in the sport of dock diving. In Flyball these dogs overcome the stereotypical view of Pit Bulls by working in conjunction with other canine team members to compete in a speed based relay race for dogs. In Weight Pull they show the world what their muscle strength and persistence can do in a positive environment. In Dock Diving, these dogs are showing the world how versatile the breeds are utilizing their physical power and trust in their humans to guide them as they fly through the sky.

Did you know that "Pit Bull" is not a breed, it is a term used to describe three different breeds with similar characteristics. It also can be used in to cover a variety of mixed breed dogs as well.
 - American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT)
 - American Staffordshire Terrier (AMSTAFF)
 - Staffordshire Bull Terrier (STAFFY)

Team Triple Threat represents two of these three breeds, the American Pit Bull Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Our APBT, Maximus and our two SBTs Bubbles and Twiztid, represent the true nature of what these breeds were meant to be. All three have gentle natures towards humans, courage, pride, persistence and athleticism.

Did you know that in 2002 the American Temperament Testing Society statistics listed that Pit Bulls and Rottweilers were all in the 82%, meaning that 80 +% of the dogs tested passed the temperament test.  This is a very high percentage, especially when compared to breeds which are common family dogs, like Golden Retrievers who tested in at 77%.
